On November 16, 2023 the Dr. Gordon Chong park was unveiled at Bloor Street East and Parliament Street.  Present were family members of Dr. Gordon Chong, BENA President Linda Brett, Toronto Centre Councillor Chris Moise, and Toronto Centre MPP Kristyn Wong-Tam.

BENA, through the tireless efforts of President Linda Brett, had long advocated for the creation of this park as part of the North St. James Town redevelopment.  Based on usage and feedback, the park is a resounding success!
